M.E.Y. Equipment specialise in building self propelled cylinder mowers for specific uses - from mowers for domestic contractor duty to cricket wicket, tennis court, bowling greens, golf greens, tees & surrounds. All mowers are fitted with an easy height control adjuster for fine or large changes.

Cylinders

Manufactured with Sheffield steel hardened spiral blades in standard 6 blade reels and options of 8 and 12 blades.

Rear Rollers

Full width, heavy duty with rolled corners in either single or split sections with planetary geared differential or ratchet system for ease of turning.

Bottom Blades

Best imported Sheffield steel blades from 1mm shaver blades through to 6mm thin lipped blades & 8mm thick lipped.

Transmission

Quality German motor cycle chain drive through hardened sprockets to both the roller drive and cylinder.

Twin Clutch System

A male & female cast iron clutch cone controls the cutting cylinder with a separate dual "A" belt clutch for ground drive control.

Engines

GX Honda OHV 4 stroke unleaded petrol engines with recoil start & safety oil alert. Other motors are available on request.

Smooth for compaction and levelling.

Spiked for aerating, promoting root growth and improving the lawn's ability to absorb water and nutrients.

Roller Specification

600mm Wide Drum, 4.8mm thick wall. Water fill during use, standard bung.

Approximately 35kg empty and 75kg water filled. Easy to load into the car boot with removable handles.
